Mini Série Em 3 Episódios / Mini Series In 3 Episodes

"SMACK" soou a agressão, obrigando o homem agredido a inclinar repentinamente a cabeça para trás, devido à violência do punho fechado a embater no nariz.

Episode 2: The civilized Country
Near the doorway of the patisserie, early in the morning, the two men reached almost simultaneously the entrance door. Their quicked steps gave now place to an obsequious manouevre under the establishment doorway awning:
- Please -said one of them - after you.
- By all means, I beg you to be so kind -the other replied, slightly leaning forward, offering the entrance door with an obsequious gesture.
- No, no, by all means. I beg you to enter.
- Please, sir, I believe that you arrived first.
- Oh come now. I think you are mistaken, sir. I insist: after you, sir.
- No, no please. I am the one who insists.
- No, I am the one who insists.
- And I insist even more!
- I am sure that you are no more insistent than I am.
- Really? I'm sure I can be rather insistent.
- That may be. But I can guarantee you that you'll please me with the favour of entering before I do.
- We'll see about that, but I rather think not, hence my capacity of insistence.
- Insistence that now rubs stubbornness.
- You are now calling me stubborn, I see.
- I would say insistent.
- Are you going in or not, you cephalopode.
- You are calling me a cephalopode after I abundantly evidenced my altruism? I would say that that desrves an answer, wouldn't you think?
- I agree so. Certainly I do. What would you have in mind?
- On the spur of the moment I would say that a punch in your somewhat harmonious countenance would be appropriate, my good sir!
- Suit yourself. But I must warn you that such an answer won't be left without a replica.
- Duly noticed!
"SMACK" the agression sounded, making the injured man suddenly lean the head back, hence was the violence of the closed fist hiting the nose.
He rappidly put himself together and "WHACK" he striked a efficient kick in the lower belly of its aggressor.
- That was very unloyal - said the aggressed man, crouching down to minimize the pain that he now felt in the testicles.
- I was forced to it. You see: you weren't counting on my eventual superiority in close body fight. Not that I have, that's not the issue. I was more... How can I say it?... more brisk.
- In deed, in deed...
- Com now, I don't want you to be offended. See, I'm entering the establishment before you. And come with me, I'll pay you the coffee.
- I think that now, in spite the early hour, I would have something stronger. I'll pay, it's on me.
- By all means, I insist. I'll pay. Or should I kick you in the balls again?

Mini-Série em 3 Episódios / Mini-Series in 3 Episodes

Episódio I: O País Utópico
- Agonizo, senhor guarda, agonizo.
Bem, resta-me pedir desculpa pela intervenção. Não queria interferir de forma nefasta. Deixo-o então na sua "empreitada".
- Podia dar-me uma mãozinha - disse o juiz.
- Bom, deixe-me só despir o casaco então.

Episode I: The Utopic Country
In the dark alley, the corpulent man was thrashing with a stick the contorting man in the ground, agonizing. Without making himself noticed, the policeman showed at the entrance of the alley, atracted by the unusual noise for that late hour in the evening. With his hand set on the pistol still in the holster he intervened:
- Hold it, sir! What are you doing?
- I agonize, officer, I agonize. - Answered the man laying in the ground, in his way to inconsciousness.
- I can well see that, friend. But I was actually speaking with, the one with the stick.
- Who, me? Well, this man hurted my daughter in ways that I don't find suitable to describe right now, of so nasty they are. Therefore I execute justice.
- I don't know if you are habilitated to do it. - the police officer returned. -Besides you incur under the suspicion that you are practicing justice by your own hands. - the policeman grabing the gu-stock more firmly and prepared for action.
- Thus it is, in fact. I'm executing justice by my own hands. - made a pause to catch his breath- But you see ... - another breath catching pause -my goodness, this is a tiring task! But you see, has I was saying, that by my credentials you can verify that I am graduated in law, I finished my magistrature with distinction and I am presently exercinsing has a judge in the judicial district of Vila Nova de Linda-A-Velha. My documents show so... - breathless, he was leaning on a knee with one hand and with the other hand showing the credentials to the police officer.
After observing the habilitations impeccably evidenced by the documents he was holding, the officer relaxed the hand on the gun-stock.
- Weel, I must agree that, after evaluating your credentials I see myself forced to agree that you are intitled to exercise the kind of justice in question.
- Thus it is.
- Thus it is, in fact. Well, There's nothing else left for me than to apoligize for my intervenience. I didn't mean to interfere in a baleful manner. I leave you in your "piece-work".
- You could give me a hand. - Said the judge. -After all you too are a law enforcement agent.
- But I beg you to consider that my shift it's near the end and I still have the rest of the street to watch. Therefore I wish you a jolly good ...
- See? That is the kind of attitude that gives bad name to the police and other classes alike. Why don't you give me a little help. I'm sure I could finish the task more rapidly ...
- I'm sure you can well see that it is not in my functions as a law enforcement agent...
- Now, then. Come on. I'm sure you'll see that it will be quite an enriching experience. Sometimes one must do more than he is told to. Only so will we make this world a better place to live. Only so will we make this country better.
- Well, I guess I have a few minutes to spare. answered the police agent with his conscience now heavy in his head at the same time he began to feel anxious to know if he was able to correspond (or not) to an invitation of a judge. -You don't have a wooden stick that you could lent me?
- I'm afraid not. You'll have to use your hands.
- Well, let me just take of my coat. We'll finish this in a no time.
- Now you're talking. That's the spirit.
When thy finished the thrashing, the two men walked down the street, in silence. One as well as the other felt that they've accomplished something good for society. And one as well as the other felt that something should be said to toast the occasion. It was the police officer that teared the silence:
- Isn't it now that your honor will turn to me and say "You know, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship"?
The two men stared momently at each other to after explode in a noisy and convulsive laughter that made them interrupt their walk.

Na Sala de Espera / In The Waiting Room

Na sala de espera:

- E então, o que é que eu teu marido faz agora?
- Ah, ele agora faz instalações eléctricas.
- Uhmm, estou a ver... é electricista.
- Não, que horror! É artista plástico.

In the wainting room:

- So, what does your husband do now?
- Ah, he makes electrical instalations.
- Hmm, I see... he's an electrician.
- Good heavens, no! He's a plastic artist.
